JOB DESCRIPTION

With your IT know-how you will support our team in developing websites and e-commerce platforms based on JavaScript, HTML, CSS and WordPress. You are also familiar with Responsive Design, various WordPress Plugins, such as Elementor and Code Snippets, and integrating Analytics-Tracking via GTM and/or Matomo – or you’re willing to learn to work with these tools. As part of an agile team, you will work closely with your colleagues from all departments.

 

You’re contributing a good understanding and determined implementation of responsive web designs and progressive web apps.  You are in your Backend Development studies (or a similar course of study) for a minimum of 3 semesters.

ESSENTIAL

  • Backend Development Studies or a similar course
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • Knowledge of CMS systems, preferably WordPress
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

DESIRABLE:

  • A portfolio website and ability to show examples of completed work.
  • E-commerce experience.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PHP
  • Experience with AI tech like ChatGPT / Prompt Engineering
  • Knowledge of MySQL, databases and server setups.
  • Knowledge of other CMS systems.
